The Long Long Night will be available for anyone to watch on demand, and organizing screenings around - both online and in person. This will be the first series we launch with, and shortly after, series will be available to any and all creators!

Creators with a series on Kinema will have the same tools filmmakers with movies do: maintain their rights, set their prices, collect audience data, weekly payouts, etc.

About the Series

The Long Long Night follows Pete and Carroll, best friends since they were six, scrambling to build adult lives that contain some semblance of purpose. It's about two people doing their absolute best to try and help..and absolutely not helping. Created by real-life childhood friends Mark Duplass and Barret O'Brien over the course of two-and-a-half years, the series asks:

+ On a planet with 8+ billion people, can two people make any difference at all?

+ What if they're willing to put their lives on the line?

+ What if...um... their plan is super, highly, deeply flawed?

+ Okay, err, what if they never really had a "plan" plan to begin with?
