We’ve made some updates to our filmmaker dashboard!

These updates were designed to clarify and streamline the experience and include updated copy and new options. Here are some of the new features:

Film Status now has its own section! This is also where you enable your film to be publicly listed on Kinema and where you can check the status of your film approval.

You can now preview the most up-to-date version of your film and captions once the Kinema team has encoded and approved (between 2 and 4 Business Days).

We’ve separated event settings (on-demand, in-person, and virtual) from VOD Rental settings so you can set custom availability and pricing.

You can now create different rights settings across event types. That means you could create a customized rate card for virtual screenings that is different from in-person screenings, or you could geo-block certain countries for in-person screenings only.
