KEET PBS and its partners present a free Indie Lens Pop-Up screening of Bike Vessel on Sunday, March 9th at 1 p.m. at the Jefferson Community Center in Eureka.This inspiring documentary follows a father and son on a powerful cycling adventure, celebrating their health transformation. After the screening, cycling expert Melanie Williams of Bikes There will lead a discussion on bike safety, and the Eureka Bike Kitchen will offer a tour and Q&A. Snacks will be provided. Knowing his dad miraculously recovered from three open-heart surgeries after discovering a passion for cycling, filmmaker Eric D. Seals proposes an ambitious idea: Bike together from St. Louis to Chicago. 350 miles. 4 days. On their journey, the two push each other as they find a deeper connection and a renewed appreciation of their quests for their own health and to reimagine Black health.
