About the film
Imagine a world without cancer… this film inspires us to do just that. Asking can the world rise to the challenge of conquering breast cancer?
Breast cancer is the 2nd most common cancer worldwide. Often seen as a success story, with many countries boasting a 5 year breast cancer survival rate of over 90%. But this is not the case everywhere. 80% of breast cancers in developing countries are diagnosed as metastatic. Until there’s a cure, breast cancer is far from ‘solved’.
Presenter Sue Collins takes you beyond these statistics to discover how the rates of breast cancer can be reduced. Weaving together powerful survivor stories and including insights from leading medical experts that highlight the importance of prevention, early detection, treatment and the psychological impact this disease.
The film highlights the progress made and the work still to be done to ensure that women stop losing their lives to this disease.
