About the film

Visionary musician and artist Brian Eno — known for producing David Bowie, U2, Talking Heads, among many others; pioneering the genre of ambient music; and releasing over 40 solo and collaboration albums — reveals his creative processes in this revolutionary documentary: a feature film that’s different every time it’s shown.

Director Gary Hustwit and digital artist Brendan Dawes developed bespoke non-AI generative software that dynamically combines original interviews with Eno’s archive of hundreds of hours of unreleased footage and music. There are billions of possible versions of the film. "Eno" was shortlisted for the 2025 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
