About the film

Loving Men, a documentary film, bears witness to a Boston-based transformative “men’s” group redefining healthy masculine identities in community. Through honest conversation and intentional fellowship, Loving Men captures the radical possibility of what can emerge from men’s groups and circles, documenting masc-presenting people demonstrating vulnerability and practicing healing with one another as they are seen, held, and held accountable. The men’s group or men’s circle is a collective infrastructure for community-led care, challenging sexist and patriarchal modes of maleness and offering a path towards community repair.
