Project Dandelion: Women, Food, and the Climate Future
In this Project Dandelion session, women’s leadership is spotlighted at the intersection of food systems, climate resilience, and the movement rising to meet this moment. The event begins with MRS ROBINSON, the compelling film that traces Mary Robinson's extraordinary life and the global wave of women climate leaders she inspired. Then, two trailblazing forces—Mary Robinson and Christiana Figueres—take the stage in conversation. Together they’ll explore the strategic power of women-led movements to drive climate justice when the stakes have never been higher. From the global to the grassroots, the session journeys to India, where Reema Nanavaty of SEWA shares how women-led enterprises are already scaling adaptive food and climate solutions—proof that change is not only possible, it’s underway. The event closes with Katie Harrison of WRTHY, who will share an update on Project Dandelion’s campaign to highlight the need for investment in smallholder farmers as we accelerate toward COP30.Join the Project Dandelion coalition as we amplify bold ideas, mobilize global action, and reimagine food and climate futures together.
