About the event

After a heartfelt community response to our first screening of SEEN, including moving feedback and requests for another opportunity to watch it together with friends/partners, we’re delighted to offer a second screening.

We, Sally Prebble and Jorinde Rapsey — founders of Peace Talks — were deeply touched when we first watched SEEN. The film speaks straight to the heart of what so many of us long for as parents: to truly contribute to our children’s wellbeing. Yet, in reality, this is not as easy as we'd like it to be.

SEEN tenderly explores the inner world of parenting — the challenges we so often carry silently, and the ways our own upbringing shapes how we relate to our children. At the same time, it offers a message of hope, illuminating what can truly support us as parents to build the connection our children so deeply need in order to thrive.

Our hope is that SEEN not only moves you, but also inspires you to seek the kind of support we parents so often need — so we can meet our children, and ourselves, with presence, clarity, and compassion.

About the film

Seen is a transformative documentary that reveals how we cannot truly see our children until we’ve done the work of seeing ourselves. The film explores how healing our emotional wounds can transform not only our own lives but also the lives of our children. Offering tools to break generational patterns and build deeper connections, Seen invites viewers to spark the healing journey and create healthier, more compassionate families.
