The Librarians Screening & Online Right To Read Rally
Ring in the the New Year with THE LIBRARIANS! Named one of The Guardian's Top 50 Films of 2025 and a New York Times Critic's Pick, Director/Producer Kim A Snyder's award-winning documentary is "gripping... as well-crafted as it is profoundly alarming.”
Join us for our online screening premiere and an empowering conversation about ways you can tackle book banning in your community during our live virtual "Right to Read" rally featuring members of our film team, celebrated authors whose work has been banned, and inspiring leaders / grassroots organizers fighting to defend intellectual freedom. We're kicking off with a special introduction from key impact partner Jonathan Friedman of PEN America and speakers will include Academy Award nominated and Peabody Award winning Director/Producer KIM A SNYDER, #FReadom Fighting film participants including BECKY CALZADA (co-founder TX #FReadom Fighters and 2025 AASL President), MARTHA HICKSON (NJLA 2023 Librarian of the Year), and WESTON BROWN (author and activist).
Additional speakers being announced daily, so stay tuned and get your tickets today!
