Ticket proceeds for this event will be supporting Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon’s advocacy through InterAct International, advancing the vision of The Future Is Peace: bringing their message to communities, policymakers, and civic leaders across the United States and Europe. Proceeds will also support their peace-building initiatives in Israel and Palestine, including leadership programs for young Palestinians women, multi-narrative education and dialogue platforms, and grassroots and coalition initiatives.

About the film
Award winning documentary exploring the complex relationship between Palestinians & Israelis —and the transformative journey that follows when they are faced with meeting ‘the other’ amidst the difficulty of the conflict & occupation—providing an extraordinary example of what we are all capable of as humans.
Often referred to as an antidote to polarization, The Other is the first film to explore Israel-Palestine peace initiatives in both a pre and post Oct 7th context
Filmed from 2017-2024, The Other focuses on peace-builders, anti-occupation activists, ex-fighters, bereaved parents and many more. Whether in non-violent co-resistance or peace-building, we witness those who have only known each other through hate, bloodshed, inequality, and war, transcend beyond narratives & belief systems. They teach us that unlearning deep-seated conditioning is possible and that we can liberate ourselves from generational trauma, hatred and fear—no matter how ingrained and legitimate those fears are.
