About the event
A must see for anyone interested in the Future of Fashion.
The Costume and Textile Association is screening Fashion Re-Imagined as part of the Norfolk Makers Festival. It will be followed by a discussion of the Environmental Impact of the Fashion Industry:
10% of global CO2 emissions are caused by the textile industry.
It’s estimated that more than two tonnes of clothing are bought each minute in the UK, more than any other country in Europe.
Around 300,000 tonnes end up in household bins every year, destined for landfill or incineration.
What can we do to make a difference?
