Gather Film Screening at the 5th Annual Religion and Ecology Summit
Join the Deep Water Initiative and the graduate program of Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies for a screening of the award-winning film Gather as part of the 2021 Religion & Ecology Online Summit. This year's Summit is titled, Indigenous Lifeways, Cosmologies & Ecology: Connecting to Past, Restor(y)ing Present & Future. Indigenous approaches to biocultural stewardship and sacred sites offer insights into the inquiry of Religion and Ecology, which explores how spiritual beliefs and practices affect the natural world. The film Gather is a beautifully personal portrayal of this theme, in its demonstration of Indigenous approaches to food sovereignty. This screening is open to all registered Summit participants. If you would like to attend this screening please register for the Summit before confirming your ticket for the screening on this page.
