About the event
Join Rabbi Dr Nachshon Siritsky for this special virtual screening of Israelism (on the Kinema platform to view the documentary) and a facilitated discussion following the film (over Zoom, through a separate link that will be shared in the chat of the Kinema platform during the film screening) about the conversionary colonial practices that perpetuate the belief that war can make anyone safer.
This screening and conversation is made possible by Independent Jewish Voices- Unama'ki, as well as the Global Social Justice Project and CB/Unama’ki Free Palestine.
All who wish to join this conversation which will provide an opportunity to consider how decolonizing ourselves is an important component of any prayer for peace. How can Canada's approach to Truth and Reconciliation inspire a shift in how we talk about this global tragedy?
About the film
