The Candidate

On January 20th, Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States of America. As we reflect on how we got here, again, I am eager to share with you The Candidate, a feature length documentary on my runs for U.S. Congress. If we have learned one thing over the past decade, it is that corporate and dark money influence has desecrated our politics and undermined the very purpose of a government that exists by, of, and for the people.Here's where you come in to help us meaningfully move the conversation forward. We are hosting a virtual screening of The Candidate on Thursday, January 16th at 8pm CST followed by an instagram live at 9:30pm CST with Qasim Rashid, Lamorne Morris (Emmy Award winning actor and The Candidate Producer), and Jack Newell (Award winning film director, and The Candidate Director).
