About the film

Sólheimajökull retreats by around 57-100 metres each year as a result of climate change. In an attempt to help communicate the impacts of glacial melt, a small expedition team travelled to Iceland with highliners Hugo Thomas and Archie Williams to rig a 57 metre highline on this glacier. Anchored into the ice with the addition of bungees, the line is the first freestyle highline of its kind. This project was endorsed by Protect Our Winters UK.
