About the film

LILLY is based on the inspiring true story of working class hero Lilly Ledbetter (Patricia Clarkson), a hard-working Alabama tire factory supervisor galvanized to seek justice when she discovers that the company has been cheating her for twenty years, just because she’s a woman. While myriad, powerful forces try to shut her down, Lilly transforms into the face of fair pay.
