What people are saying

Truly it’s vexing that sailing luminaries don’t get more attention in the U.S. - and it really hits you front and center watching “The Wizard of Zenda,” Mark Honer’s terrific documentary film about the legendary Buddy Melges.

Wendy Mitman-Editor in Chief

Sail Magazine

Mark Honer has crafted a remarkable journey through the life and career of an extraordinary sailing icon. Simply, Melges was a man so in love with sailing, speed and competition, so naturally attuned to the wind and the sea, that he dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence and became one of the most accomplished sailors of all time.

Tara Cooney

Saltwater Journal

"The first public screening of the 85 -minute documentary was on a bleak, rainy Saturday morning [in Annapolis]. To my surprise, 600 people showed up to see this film about the most accomplished racing sailor of our era."
