About the film

"Sankofa Part One: Land. Root. Seed. Culture. Community." sets the stage using interviews with IMH professionals to explore cultural frameworks and perspectives that challenge and revitalize our understanding of healing and the infant mental health field.

The Project is created to live in the hands of and support those serving young children, families, and communities. The Sankofa film series is created for professional development, education and training, personal and collective reflection, and broader narrative and systems change.
