About the film
Empowered by his 13 year old daughter’s courage, Ranjit, a father in rural India fights for justice after she is sexually assaulted. Despite social ostracization, death threats and economic hardship, Ranjit, his wife Jaganti and their brave daughter “Kiran,” refuse to capitulate. Their story, captured in the 2024 Oscar®-nominated film, To Kill a Tiger was named one of the 31 Best Documentaries of All Time by Harper’s Bazaar and has launched global gender justice movement, #StandWithHer.
