Women & the Wind

** This is not a fictional account of undertaking a transatlantic crossing and certainly not Kiana Weltzien's first , her solo crossing on a Wharram Catamaran 3yrs ago can be seen on You Tube .

A big reason people never start sailing is because the pathway isn't always clearly marked. The joy of sailing and sailboat racing should be enjoyed by the many, not the few.

For over 70 years we have been fostering an appreciation for the pristine waters and white sandy beaches that Emerald Coast has to offer in the Florida Panhandle. We teach children and adults how to sail through our non-profit partnership with the Emerald Coast Sailing Association. We provide summer camps and lessons to anyone interested in learning how to sail. Our sailing lessons are open to the public.
 
We host and participate in local regattas year-round. We provide advanced lessons through our sailing instructor and workshops.

We welcome you to join us on the Hindu Charters dock (Slip 10w MacMillian Pier, Provincetown MA 02657) for this special screening event. If the wind allows, we will project the film onto the Schooner Hindu and Cutter Bloodhound sails. Please be prepared for Cape Cod weather with layers and bring a chair or two for maximum comfort!
