On March 8, the International Women's Day,  it is fitting that Women Supporting Women has sponsored a FREE screening of 

. This film is the inspiring story of a multi-racial, multi-generational, bipartisan effort to make Virginia the final state required to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. It's also a story about the incredible perseverance of women. For more than 100 years we have worked to get equal rights and protection for women written into the Constitution of the United States. 

Introduction to event and film,  approximately 12:15 - 12:30 pm: Francine Case and speaker Rebecca Now, from Voices of AmericanHERstory 

Discussion, approximately 2:15 -3 pm: speaker Laura X, who revived International Women's Day in the US and founded Women's Month and speaker Kate Lawder, 1st Vice President of Missouri Women 's Political Caucus , followed by questions and discussion.

Most Americans believe the Constitution protects gender equality. It does not. RATIFY follows 3 brave women who unexpectedly accept the reins to carry forward a 100-year struggle to build a more inclusive movement and finally enshrine gender equality in the Constitution.
