ACLU of Louisiana and the Dooky Chase Foundation Present "John Lewis: Good Trouble", with Demario Davis

As we approach the election of our lifetime, in the midst of a global pandemic and the Movement for Black Lives, ACLU of Louisiana members and friends will honor the legacy of Civil Rights crusader John Lewis and prepare to bring historic voter turnout to the polls on November 3. We are proud to present this screening with the Dooky Chase Foundation and to welcome speaker and Saints Linebacker Demario Davis. At the drive in, you'll hear from ACLU of LA Executive Director Alanah Odoms and the Edgar Dooky Jr. and Leah Chase Foundation about the importance of voting down the ballot for racial and gender justice. Attendees will receive resources about how to vote safely and what to do if one experiences trouble at the polls, and all will be encouraged to join ACLU of LA's post election virtual Town Hall. FREE DOOR GIVEAWAYS include merch, an autographed drum head and vinyl records from The Revivalists, and New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans gear!
