This film God and Country is a must see. It examines the philosophy and history behind Christian Nationalism. After the movie we will have small table conversations to further explore what we learned and discuss if there we are called upon to act in some way.
About the film
From producer Rob Reiner, God & Country examines the implications of Christian nationalism and how it distorts not only our constitutional republic but Christianity itself. Through the voices of prominent Christian leaders, constitutional scholars and journalists, the film asks the question: "What happens when a faith built on love, sacrifice and forgiveness grows political tentacles, conflating power, money and belief into hyper-nationalism?"
