About the event

The J along with the Newmark Institute at the JCRC, Cultural Leadership and Consulate General of Israel in Atlanta will present John Lewis: Good Trouble in a drive-in setting on the Millstone Campus on Sunday, August 23rd at 8:00pm The screening is free, but reservations must be made online through storyspaces. Capacity is 80 cars. Congressman John Lewis who passed away in July was an icon in the civil rights movement who led the non-violent movement for voting rights.

About the film

The timely biopic focuses on John Lewis’ longstanding prominence as a civil rights champion and his continuing crusade for racial and social equality. The documentary illuminates the 80-year-old Congressman’s life as it chronicles the moments on the extraordinary journey that have shaped his place in history and make him such a galvanizing figure today as protests circle the globe.

About the space

The screening will take place on the North Lot of the Millstone Campus. Signage will guide cars to the location. The north lot will open at 7:15pm for an 8:00pm start. Once you have made your reservation on storyspaces you will be sent a follow-up email with instructions about parking, restrooms and radio tuning for sound for the film.
