We’ve heard your many requests to see Your Fat Friend. We’re working hard to bring our independent film, to as many people as possible, as widely as we can. 

Alongside festival screenings we are planning to tour the film and qualify for the Oscar, before going to streaming. 

In order to bring this truly independent film to more people, we need your help.

We know there are a lot of things you could be spending your money on right now, and that the holidays can be a tough time - whether you’re spending them with your family, with other people or alone.

I CAN’T AFFORD $25 BUT I REALLY WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS

I‘VE ALREADY SEEN THE FILM, CAN I JUST ATTEND THE LIVE EVENT?

You are very welcome to attend, but the cost is the same - this is primarily a fundraising event for the theatrical release

CAN I SHARE THE LINK TO VIEW THE FILM?

You will be sent a unique link which is non transferable. But you can use that link to watch the film as many times as you like, and you can watch with your friends or family.

CAN I TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THIS?

We’d love you to spread the word and get more people to see the film though, so please share the Kinema link!

CAN YOU MAKE THE FILM AVAILABLE TO STREAM FOR EVERYONE, NOW?

We have some exciting plans in the pipeline that mean, due to legal rights constraints, we are unable to stream the film more widely, for now. But those constraints do allow us to sell tickets to an “at home, cinema-like experience.” So we’re doing just that!

We made the film to show in cinemas first, because it deserves to be seen on the big screen. We have been challenging cinemas and theaters to consider the needs of fat audiences, through making seat sizing visible and taking part in an access audit.
